Film Planning Genre research- Need for Speed

The the opening credits for the movie Need for Speed, the storyline was not told just setting the tone that the movie was most likely going to be about cars. There was multiple point-of-view shoots of what the driver of the car sees and an arial shot of the cars driving down the road. The mis-en-scene is the costumes the actors driving the cars were wearing. The sound in the opening credits were voice overs and sound effects. The overall budget of the movie was 66 million and the ended up making 96.1 million. The nominations for the movie were Independent Feature Film, Best Stunts Award, and the Best Music Supervision for Trailers award. Overall the one award won wad the Taurus Award.
